Internal Medicine Residency

You can set up a Personal Account that allows you to use all of DynaMed's personalized features, including CME. With a Personal Account, you can sign in to DynaMed from anywhere, including the browser on your mobile device and the DynaMed mobile app for Apple and Android devices.

1. Create a Personal DynaMed Account. 

• To create a Personal DynaMed account, first login/register to the ADL. Once in, access DynaMed via the ADL Database tabs or search bar:

• On the DynaMed homepage, click the Sign In button in the top right corner

• A new form will appear. Select Register Now.

• Fill out the Register for a Personal Account form with your personal information. Once finished, click Register.

• Once your DynaMed Personal account is created, you are ready to download the DynaMed mobile app.

2. Download the Mobile App

• Begin by downloading the DynaMed app  from the iTunes or Google Play app store.

3. Authenticate the App 

• Sign into the app with your Personal User Account - Enter your personal DynaMed user account credentials and tap the Sign In button.

1. Create an UpToDate Account. 

• To create an UpToDate account, first login/register to the ADL. Once in, access UpToDate via the ADL Database tabs or search bar:

• On the UpToDate homepage, click the orange Register button in the top right corner.
• Fill out the required form.
• Once your UpToDate account has been created, you are now ready to download the mobile app.

2. Download the Mobile App

• Begin by downloading the UpToDate app  from the iTunes or Google Play app store.
  • If you have trouble finding the app in the store, use the browser on your mobile device to go to http://www.uptodate.com/home/uptodate-mobile-access and use the appropriate download link.

3. Authenticate the App 

• After downloading, sign into the app using your personal UpToDate user account credentials and tap the Sign In button.

4. Reverify the App

• To maintain remote access to UpToDate through your institution’s subscription, you must first re-verify your affiliation with the institution.
• To re-verify your affiliation with the institution, log in with your user name and password once every 90 days:

1. From within your institution's network navigate to the AHEC Digital Library https://library.ncahec.net/  and log into your ADL account
2. Then navigate to Databases list https://library.ncahec.net/databases.php and select UpToDate from the "U" list
3. Once UpToDate is launched, click on the log in link at the top right. Then, enter your user name and password.

STAT!Ref Mobile App Handout

1. Create a STAT!Ref Account. 

• To create a STAT!Ref account, first login/register to the ADL. Once in, access STAT!Ref via the ADL Database tabs or search bar:

• On the STAT!Ref homepage, click the My STAT!Ref button in the top right corner.

• Within the My STAT!Ref Account Login form, select No, I want to create a My STAT!Ref account.
  • ​Click Login/Create Account.

• Fill out the provided form. Click Create Account.                                       

2. Activate Your Login

•  Activate your User Name & Password as a Temporary Login Account. By activating the Temporary Login Account, you’ll be enabling your user name and password to open the app.
• Click the Temporary Login Account tab.

• Click the I'm not a robot and Activate/Renew buttons. 

• Note your account's expiration date. 

3. Download the Mobile App

• Download the My STAT!Ref app  from the iTunes, Google Play, or Amazon app stores.

4. ENABLE App Using Your Temporary Login Account

• Login to the app using your newly created Username and Password.
  • ​You can choose to save your login information to your device.
•  You have now enabled your app. An expiration email reminder for users of Temporary Login Accounts are sent 10 days and then again 1 day prior to expiration. You can still renew even if your login expires. You just won’t be able to use the app until you renew the Temporary Login Account. You CANNOT do this from the mobile app. ​

1. Create a VisualDx Account. 

• To create a VisualDx account, first login/register to the ADL. Once in, access VisualDx via the ADL Database tabs or search bar:

• On the VisualDx homepage, select Get the Mobile App on the bottom portion of the screen. 

• A window will appear. Select Create A Personal VisualDx Account.

• Fill out the provided form and then select Create Personal Account.

2. Download the Mobile App

• Once your VisualDx registration is complete, an email will be sent to you with in-depth instructions for downloading and accessing the mobile app   

1. Create a Natural Medicines Account. 

• To create a Natural Medicines account, first login/register to the ADL. Once in, access Natural Medicines via the ADL Database tabs or search bar:

• On the Natural Medicines homepage, click the Get Your Login ID button in the top right corner and fill out the required form.

• Once the registration form is complete and submitted, you should see the message that you have successfully created a personal account. Click OK
• Once your Natural Medicines account is created, you are now ready to download the mobile app.

2. Download the Mobile App

• Download the Natural Medicines app  from the iTunes or Google Play app store.
  • An Internet connection is required for the initial content download and updates, but not for regular app usage.

3. Authenticate

• Sign into the Natural Medicines app using your personal user account credentials.
